tidbits
nine months is definitely my favorite age right now. Baby Blue Eyes is so much fun, he's gotten to where he 'plays' with other kids/babies. The babies just look at each other and steal toys, but when playing with a two-year-old tonight he was so cute. He'd follow her around and then she'd follow him around. She'd say 'come here' and he'd come, and then she'd run away. They were just silly, and fun.he's quicker and he's getting smart. He's figured out how to sneak through the baby play yard fence when I don't have it very secure, he figures it out when I set something he can't have behind me, or on the other side of me, and and tries to get it and he remembers where things are that he wants to go get. (He LOVES the bathroom scale and sometimes spots the bathroom door open and absolutely beelines towards the bathroom the play with the scale).
But my absolute favorite thing about him right now? He gets hyper (as only a nine-month-old can do) at bedtime. I think it's the crawling equivalent of running laps. He goes and goes and goes. crawls everywhere. gets into everything. Talks, giggles, smiles. You wouldn't think he was tired at all, it's like he's trying to trick everyone. But the minute hes is forced to calm down, he's SO tired he about can't handle it.
