catching up

We had a fantabulous weekend at what has become a fantastic summer tradition, the Madison (nebraska) County Fair. It's always fun seeing my hubby's family, and catching up with the little cousins (who had a ball playing with our little man). Blue Eyes got to play with cousin Brock's tractors and cars, got to 'drive' a tractor at the fair, ride a carousel for the first time, stayed with babysitters and SLEPT ALL NIGHT. Which was especially good because mom and dad drank a few beers and did not go to bed until very late. It made getting up with him (bright eyed and bushy tailed) at 5:30am rather rough... but it was still a good time to do that...

Now, I spent all day getting ready for a meeting tomorrow, and now i want to go to bed. More details, photos and maybe even video will appear later this week... once the house is picked up, laundry is done, and I feel a little more ahead of the game!
