keys

There's something about babies and keys, and even if you start out determined not to give your baby things that don't belong to them and aren't toys (keys, remotes, cell phones) they will somehow always get ahold of them - especially the keys (unless, somehow, you're extremely good at ALWAYS hiding the keys when getting baby in and out of the car)

Baby Blue Eyes, like all babies, loves keys. But he's especially fond of MY keys. They have yellow wrist strap on them that he likes to chew on while playing with the keys themselves. It's the best of both worlds.

This morning, while little man was sitting in the high chair eating breakfast with daddy, I grabbed my bags, coffee and car keys and headed towards the boys to kiss them goodbye....

..baby saw me coming, or more accurately, saw the KEYS coming and grinned a HUGE grin.

sorry baby... mommy needs those keys to drive to work...
