They're not babies anymore

(alternately titled: HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAELA!)

One year ago today, this beautiful little baby joined her mama, daddy, and twin big sisters in the world.



She's my brother's daughter, almost exactly six months younger than Blue Eyes, and I remember at the time amazed at what a difference 6 months and newborn made, and how it seemed like it had been a long time since our little man had been that little.

Now, it seems like it was just yesterday that HE turned one year old. How on earth is his little cousin already one?? Time goes so fast, and this summer those six months won't make much difference at all... they'll probably both be chasing the big cousins (and each other) around.



Happy Birthday Beautiful Girl! Can't wait to see you this weekend!
